EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

Walker offers employees a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.


Medical Insurance
All full-time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to enroll in Walker’s medical insurance. Employees may select from one of three HPHC health plans.

Dental Insurance
All full-time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to enroll in one of two dental plans offered through Delta Dental


Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts
All full-time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in Walker’s medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts.

The Medical FSA allows employees to set aside up to $2,650 annually in a pre-tax account. This account may be used to reimburse you for qualified medical, dental and vision expenses for yourself and your eligible dependents.

The Dependent Care FSA allows employees to set aside up to $5,000 annually in a pre-tax account. This money can be used to pay for eligible dependent care expenses for children under the age of 13, children over the age of 13 who are mentally or physically incapable of self-care, or for eligible elder care expenses.

Life and Disability Insurance
All part-time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week are eligible for the agency paid Life Insurance, Long Term Disability Insurance and Short Term Disability Insurance benefits.

All eligible employees will receive an employer paid Life Insurance policy at 1.5x their salary, up to a maximum of $250,000.  All eligible employees are enrolled in employer paid Short Term Disability. All eligible employees also receive a Long Term Disability benefit of 60% of monthly earnings, up to $10,000 per month.

Employee Assistance Program
All full-time and part-time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week and their immediate family members are eligible to participate in the Employee Assistance Program, which is available to help if you are struggling with issues in your work or personal life. 


401K Retirement Plan
All active Walker employees can participate in Walker’s group retirement plan through MassMutual.


Paid Time Off (PTO)
Walker believes it is important for employees to have time away from work, therefore, Walker offers generous paid time off.

Parental Leave
Walker provides paid parental leave to all full-time employees regularly scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week after one (1) year of full-time employment.


Tuition Reimbursement
All full-time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are eligible for an annual tuition reimbursement benefit of up to $1500, after 6 months of continuous employment.
